So my neighbor had a garage sale this weekend and I thought I'd go check it out and I found the coolest thing!! It's called a patty shell maker. I'm guessing it's from the 1940's because my neighbor (who's a grandmother) was saying how she remembered when her mom used to make them when she was a kid...so a loong time ago. I thought that was so neat. I love antiques. I always wonder how people we're dressed during that time frame and what was going on when they used the item. I know, I know...kind of creepy. lol. I'm sure most people think "Someone else's hands touched this and now they're dead!." I have a $5.00 bill in my wallet from 1934 and I sometimes wonder what it bought while moving through circulation. In the 1930's $5.00 was enough to buy a pair of eye glasses. I'm sure someone had to have bought new spectacles with the $5.00 that's in my wallet. lol, moving back to the patty shell makers. They seem pretty simple and have the original instructions with them but it's torn in pieces and very very worn. Maybe the mom got mad at the kids and said "I'm never making patty shells again!!" and ripped up the directions! hmph! done and done! Luckily my bag of goodies has a someone updated version of the patty shells and those instructions are still intact. I looked online and you can fill them with different things like creams, cheeses, jams. I guess it's basically like a pastry shell. The way the neighbor described them was they we're like hard cookies and you sprinkle powdered sugar on them. I'll try both ways and post updated pics soon! Here's my nifty finds!

Just Call Me Queen B!
Woo Hoo my package came in the mail today! The infertility book I'm reading mentioned Royal Jelly to help fertility. I'm willing to try anything. :) I hope I like the taste, I have a whopping 24 ounces of it!!
Royal jelly is a honey bee secretion that is used in the nutrition of larvae, as well as adult queens. It is secreted from the glands in the hypopharynx of worker bees, and fed to all larvae in the colony.
When worker bees decide to make a new queen, either because the old one is weakening, or was killed, they choose several small larvae and feed them with copious amounts of royal jelly in specially constructed queen cells. This type of feeding triggers the development of queen morphology, including the fully developed ovaries needed to lay eggs. Royal Jelly is said to improve fertility in both men and women, in men by increasing the quality of their sperm, and in women by increasing the quality of their eggs.
What is Royal Jelly Used For?
How I will feel when I am pregnant.
A girl from TMP took these words right out of my mouth!
I will cherish every second that I am puking in the toilet and thank God that he has blessed me with morning sickness.
I will love every stretch mark that marked my body with pregnancy battle scars.
I will skip merrily to the bathroom and sing tunes while I tinkle 100 times a day!
I will push like I have never pushed before and love my constipation.
I will smile and cringe with every blood draw and 3 hour glucose test because that's just part of pregnancy.
I will listen to every sign my body gives me and happily follow each one.
I will be like a giddy little school girl when I finally get to go buy maternity clothes.
I will happily gain every pound that is needed for our baby and know that no matter how hard I worked at loosing all the weight prior, this is SO worth it!!
Every time the little angel kicks me in the liver I will cry happy tears that I am able to feel him or her move.
I will smile and refuse to complain about any ache or pain that goes along with the territory since I have been dreaming about feeling that way for so long.
And when my water breaks and the contractions feel like they are going to tear me apart, I will just hold my husbands hand and tell him this is it, we are gonna bring our baby into the world soon!!

- It increases libido
- Supports the health of eggs (so you get pregnant - and don't miscarry)
- Diminishes the signs of aging (inside and out, to help you get pregnant no matter when you want to)
- Reduces inflammation (helpful for endometriosis, PCOS, and other inflammatory conditions)
- Naturally boosts the immune system
- It has been shown to treat auto-immune conditions (these conditions can cause infertility, not to mention pain)

Day in Tampa
When me and Mike went to Savannah earlier this year we tasted Spatzel for the first time and it was delicious. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a German noodle dish. We then had it again at Epcot and Mike has been craving German food ever since. We found a German restaurant in Tampa called Schnitzelhaus and decided to make it a day trip. Some good food, check. shopping at the International Plaza, check. Sounds like my kind of day!! Mike's been so busy with traveling and playing Starcraft, I thought it would be so nice if we didn't use the computers till after dinner. Just me and Mike time.... Buuut it turns out we just can't get away from that game!!. It followed us to Tampa. lol.
We really did have a great day together. For any of you that live in Florida, Schnitzelhaus is a must! The owner is very nice and be ready for constant bad jokes. lol. they're so bad it's funny. We hope to spend a day in Tampa every month and make a visit to Schnitzelhaus! As always, here's some pics of our food. ha ha did you really think I wouldn't have pictures??
To top off our day we ran around looking for new phones. Went to all of the carriers in the mall and finally decided to stick with Tmobile and hook ourselves up with some new Androids!! Best Christmas present to each other ever! we Love Love Love them! And best of all we can do video chat when he's out of town. So now I can annoy him even when he's 3,000 miles away!! SUCCESS!!! =P Oh yeah I almost forgot about the BEST part of our day!! (Insert sarcasm here) Me and Mike we're inside Sanrio (OF COURSE I have to buy hello kitty stuff when I get the chance!!) and I'm paying for my items then suddenly I hear "THAT DID NOT JUST HAPPEN!!!" I turn my head and there is what was once a full cup of ice coffee ALL oooover the wood floor inside Sanrio. I was mortified. The girl behind the counter did not look amused. ha ha ha poor Mike. All that came out was "I'll clean it up." I'm sure little girls we're mad because it literally spilled everywhere you couldn't walk across the store. He probably stopped at least 4 girls from looking at the hello kitty school supplies. The best part of it was when we walk out of the store I turn to him and give him that "I can't believe you did that" look, and he says "Mike one, Hello Kitty Zeeero!" I couldn't help but laugh! I love him. Even though he did make a mess in HK's house!

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas
It's freezing!! It's 58 degrees outside and I'm loving it. I love the winter when your fingers get cold instantly and that crisp cold air hits your face. Being in Florida it's obviously not a real winter, but It's what we look forward to after the hot ass summer!! Not to mention when the house feels cold it reminds me of Christmas and instantly brightens my day! I might just start putting up the Xmas decor in the house very soon. :) Since the weather was so nice I decided to play with my babies while Mike's sleeping.
Of course the first thing they do is a face off
It's getting intense
ATTACK!!!!
Acacia found an orange.................
And of course decided to bury the orange!
A little more chasing
Still running
I hate when Lola's ears are up!

Also a hemoglobin test because....well, because my Doc said so. :) I won't be getting these results till my next RE appt which won't be for at least 3 weeks but I'll keep you guys posted! over and out.
P.S. Mike comes home today! Yahoooooo!!!!! Target had all of these different flavors of candy corn on clearance so I bought him each kind! Only the best for Mike! lol. He loves candy corn and it's the thought that counts. :P I threw in two of his fave candy bars too.

Happy Halloween!!!...happy it's over.
Thank goodness Halloween is over and we can move on to better things!..liiiike Christmas!! my favorite Holiday! Mike is a huge Halloween fanatic and I am psycho about Christmas! I'll sing and hum Christmas songs all year long! Just ask Mike. :) He'll tell you how annoying it is! I don't hate Halloween but I never have a planned costume. It's always last minute planning. As in I'll decide what I'll be the day OF Halloween. Maybe next year will be better because today we went to hot topic in the mall and bought Halloween costumes at 75% off! We have a couples costume for any parties we attend. Princess Peach and Mario. How fitting. lol and then for when we hand our candy at the neighbors I'll be snow white! I get to be two princesses next year! ha ha. Here are some pics of our Halloween this year. Our neighbors put up an awesome graveyard with zombies that pop out at you, strobe lights, fog, and of someone hiding behind tarp to freak out the children!
Mike was a butcher and I'm a devil since I'm an angel the rest of the year! ;)
Our little Lola was spider man!
This is way scarier at night once the music, fog and strobe lights are going!
Our neighbors/Very good friends Pete and Vicky
Grrr! mess with the devil you get the horns! wicked bad joke!
Mike replaced the old head chef, but kept his head! muahahaha!
Fred and Wilma Flintstone we're sooooo annoying!!
